The goal is not to make every source support a predetermined conclusion. It is to build enough primary-source evidence that readers can separate fact, Donalds' own claims, third-party testimony, inference, and editorial judgment.

Every substantive claim is treated internally as one of five things: fact; a claim made by Donalds or his campaign; a claim made by a third party; an inference drawn from evidence; or editorial judgment. The site should never blur those categories. Positive interpretation is allowed, but readers should be able to see what is observed and what is inferred.
Source Hierarchy
Primary sources come first: full original interviews and video, publisher transcripts, congressional or government records, official written policy, legislation, and first-party public statements. Reputable reporting, academic research, and think-tank analysis are used to add context, challenge claims, and test mechanisms. When a full primary source exists, the project should not rely on someone else's summary as the sole basis for a major conclusion.
